Google Search Console
Connect Google Search Console to view search performance — clicks, impressions, queries, and pages — directly inside your Open Analytics dashboard.
What you get
- Search Console page — performance chart, breakdown tabs (queries, pages, countries, devices), and sitemaps
- Stats overview — optional Search clicks line on the traffic trend chart when connected (toggle with Pageviews / Visitors)
- Query insights — see which search terms drive traffic to your site
How to connect
- Open your site in the dashboard.
- Go to Settings → Search Console Connect or the Search Console page.
- Click Connect Google Search Console.
- Sign in with the Google account that has access to your Search Console property.
- Select the matching property and confirm the connection.
Tip
Connecting Search Console is separate from signing in to Open Analytics with Google. You must connect Search Console again from your site settings even if you already sign in with Google.
Using the data
Once connected:
- Visit the Search Console page for detailed search performance breakdowns.
- On the Stats page, toggle Search clicks on the trend chart to compare organic search traffic with pageviews.
- Use the period selector to view data over 7 days, 30 days, or longer.
Note
Google Search Console data has a 2–3 day reporting delay. Recent days may show incomplete numbers.
Troubleshooting
- Make sure the Google account you connect has Owner or Full access to the property in Google Search Console.
- The domain in your Open Analytics project should match the Search Console property (e.g.
example.comorhttps://example.com). - If the connection fails, disconnect and reconnect from Settings → Search Console Connect.
